Breath.  It is our life force.

By directly impacting the breath, the Coronavirus got our attention.  It has made us ponder – what is life all about? What is important?  And are we truly living as our best and highest selves?

Many of us have had a lot of time to think, but not a lot of opportunities to help.  Yet, taking action makes us feel better.  We want to help.  We want to put our energy behind something of value, to reinforce that we’re all in this together, and together we will find our way out.

In the spirit of co-creation, we put our heads together at IX and made an active meditation titled, Breathe with the Trees.   It’s short – only 3:40 minutes long – and yet we think both soothing and empowering.

In an active meditation, you participate as part of a community, to create a force that is exponentially greater than what we can do alone.

Breathe with the Trees combines the powerful inspiration of nature, with our intention and goodwill.  In it, we breathe together and send that breath energetically to those who are struggling to breathe on their own.  Whether it is a patient on a ventilator, medical personnel, first responder, or other essential worker breathing through layers of masks, a child with asthma or an elder speaking with great difficulty, all need our support.

Everyone can participate in Breathe with the Trees.  It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned meditator or brand new.  This isn’t about quieting your mind.  It’s about creating some positive energy and peace and sending it where it is needed.

So relax, listen, and breathe.  Let yourself float along with the words.  Enjoy the beautiful images, or close your eyes. You may choose to hold an object such as a Crystal or a photo, or light a candle while listening – it’s all up to you. There is no right or wrong way to experience this.

Just show up with love and intend to make a difference.  Together we will ignite the inner healer in each of us and share that light with the world.
